Since Trump’s return to office, often the first inclination of someone is to post their frustration at his illegal, authoritarian actions. However, research has shown that we can’t post our way out of fascism. However, whenever 3.5% of the population of a nation engages in sustained mass protest, they have always attained the change they sought. Hence we at Loudoun Indivisible embrace that 3.5% goal and seek to increasingly grow our rally numbers in protest of Trump’s policies and significantly increase the number of citizens who turn out to vote at all levels of the government

About Our Movement

Resisting Tyranny

We are fighting to defend our democracy from Trump’s increasingly authoritarian actions, from mass firings of federal officials to sweeping crackdowns on dissent.

Immigrant Due Process

We firmly support all persons in the US, including immigrants, being afforded due process as guaranteed by the US Constitution

Economic Policy

We oppose Trump’s illegal tariffs and a whole host of ill-conceived polices that are leading the country down into stagflation.

Civil/Human Rights

We stand for the protection of civil and human rights, defending liberties and ensuring justice for all.

Federal Workers

We deeply respect the vital role federal workers play in strengthening our democracy, and we are committed to protecting the institutions that uphold our republic.

Science

Trump regularly suppresses, downplays, or simply ignores scientific research demonstrating the need for regulation to protect public health and the environment, cutting much-needed funding to maintain US science leadership

Foreign Policy

We are committed to a foreign policy grounded in alliances, integrity, and principled leadership that supports our allies and rejects praise for repressive regimes.

Energy Policy

We seek to restore clarity and vision to US energy policy, advancing a transition to clean, non-polluting, and sustainable energy sources.

Climate Policy

We are committed to science-based climate action, with ambitious but achievable goals to protect our planet and secure a livable future for generations.

Academia

We stand for academic freedom, open inquiry, and the integrity of university leadership. We support U.S. institutions that defend intellectual independence and resist political interference.

Corruption

We decry Trump’s corrupt grifting of billions of dollars by brazen influence pedaling combined with the overt conflicts of interest with his family businesses and cryptocurrency

Supporting Veterans

We honor the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans and are committed to defending and strengthening the programs that serve them.

Please sign up to attend one of our FIVE Loudoun County NO KINGS 3 events. Loudoun Indivisible has identified 5 suitable overpasses on Route 7 between Leesburg and Ashburn and these we shall fill to wave our huge signs of RESISTANCE!
